Partnership Expanding to 10 New Counties

PHC-Service-Area-CHANGING COUNTIES.jpg

Do you have Medi-Cal plan and live in one of these counties – Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Tehama, or Yuba?

On January 1, 2024, you will be enrolled in Partnership HealthPlan of California or Kaiser. (Kaiser may be available in Placer, Sutter, and Yuba counties).

If you live in one of our current 14 counties  Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Napa, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Trinity, or Yolo – Partnership will still be your Medi-Cal managed care health plan and this expansion will not affect your care benefits.

Changing health plans will not affect your Medi-Cal coverage or benefits. Your coverage and benefits will stay the same. This change will not affect your Medi-Cal eligibility, cash assistance (CalWorks), CalFresh, or SSI.

What you need to know

Can I keep my doctor?

You will be able to keep your doctor if they contract with Partnership. You can ask your doctor if they will be in the Partnership network. You can also call Partnership if you have any questions.

If your doctor does not work with us, you might be able to keep your doctor for 12 months under "continuity of care." If you want continuity of care, please call our Member Services once you join the Medi-Cal health plan.

If you would like a new doctor or need help choosing one, call Partnership after January 1, 2024.

If you do not pick a doctor, Partnership will pick one for you. You can always change your doctor by calling us.
