HEDIS® Project Description

Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) is a tool created by the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) to evaluate performance of health plans in key clinical preventive and chronic care measures. Each year, our clinical care is evaluated against a set of standardized measures that are part of the HEDIS® reporting initiative. Health Plans are compared on their performance and their rates are publicly reported. Several of the HEDIS® measures are included in the PCP Quality Incentive Program that provides financial incentives for reaching performance thresholds in selected measures.

We are offering HEDIS® orientations in the month of January 2013, follow this link to learn about the content and register for one of our sessions: Orientation to HEDIS® Webinar Invitation
