How to Enroll in the Healthy Kids Program
Requirements for Member Eligibility
If funds are available, in order to be eligible, an individual must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Solano and Yolo County Residents
- Under 19 years of age.
- A resident of Solano or Yolo County.
- In a family with an annual or monthly household income equal to or less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Family income will be adjusted by taking deductions if the responsible parent(s) or guardian(s) pays for child support and/or alimony or pays for childcare.
- Not eligible for FREE full scope Medi-Cal or the Healthy Families Program.
- Not covered by employer paid health insurance for the previous three months.
Sonoma County Residents
- Under 6 years of age.
- A resident of Sonoma County.
- In a family with an annual or monthly household income equal to or less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Family income will be adjusted by taking deductions if the responsible parent(s) or guardian(s) pays for child support and/or alimony or pays for childcare.
- Not eligible for FREE full scope Medi-Cal or the Healthy Families Program.
- Not covered by employer paid health insurance for the previous three months.
Pregnant minors are eligible for pregnancy-related services under the Healthy Kids Program.
